Each year, a group of seniors join together to launch a campaign that unites the graduating class by raising money for a physical gift to donate to the engineering school. The gift provides an opportunity for the Class of 2011 to leave its mark on UCLA Engineering and share their legacy with future engineering students.

Currently, we are the only group of seniors to present a physical gift that is unique to our School. The campaign culminates at the Senior Class Dinner in the spring, where we present a check to Dean Dhir and UCLA Engineering for the amount you helped raise. All engineering senior donors will be recognized at the Senior Class Dinner.

EVERY gift makes a difference.

Last year, more than 200 engineering seniors made a gift to  the Engineering Senior Gift Fund, and received additional support from Dean Dhir. Each small gift accumlated to $20,000 in funds toward the senior gift, and the Class of 2010 achieved a record-breaking 60% participation in the campaign.

This year, the Class of 2011 is looking to beat that record. We need YOU to help meet our 100% participation goal. Your gift today will help provide the necessary funds to purchase the Class of 2011 senior gift.

There are plenty of ways to give and even more ways to participate. There is no minimum gift amount, but we suggest a gift of $20.11 to commemorate your graduation year and your status as an eternal Bruin.

3. Ask your parents to contribute to the cause
4. Use your Ralph's card
5. Call 310-206-0678 to make a gift over the phone
6. Join the committee to promote the campaign
7. Promote the campaign by tabling oustide of SEAS Cafe
8. Get your gift matched
9. Attend the Senior Donor Reception
10. Attend the Senior Class Dinner
11. Participate!

For several years, Ralphs grocery store has been a proud sponsor of the UCLA Engineering Senior Class Campaign. Register your Ralphs card today and Ralphs will donate up to 4% of your total purchases each month toward the 2011 senior gift!

• Go to www.ralphs.com
• Click on the “Sign In / Register” link at the top right of the page
• Under “New Customer?” click on “Sign up today!”
• Complete all the relevant information. You will need to submit a preferred Ralphs store, a valid e-mail address and create a password so you can login
• Once you have completed the form, follow the directions to activate your account and login.
• Click on the “Community Contribution Program” link on the left hand side of the page and enter your Ralphs card number
• Find UCLA School of Engineering by entering in the search field “Engineering” or our school code: 82636 and save changes

2010  Additional printers in the computer labs and new computers in the student lounge

2011  It's your year. It's up to YOU.

Thanks to the dedication and generosity of the Class of 2010, we surpassed our $10,000 goal and reached a record-breaking 60% participation to the Engineering Senior Gift Fund.

Additional printers were installed on the 4th floor computer labs to help ease printer traffic. The engeering student lounge also received brand new computers for engineering student use, all powered by SEASNet. Thank you to the Class of 2010 for making the Engineering Senior Gift possible!
