Snapshots from the School's history

Debjyoti Banerjee PhD '99
: I had some of the best learning experiences at UCLA - which I still find valuable in my career development. I believe that UCLA Engineering is the best place to go for graduate school! The faculty and staff really do give out their best to make sure that the students get to enjoy the best educational environment.

Combine this with the student activities, advance movie screenings at the Film School and Ackerman, the events on Bruin walk, Pauley Pavilion... the list would go on.

I particularly enjoyed being an International Advisor for the orientation programs at the Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS). I would recommend this to everyone! Also, the "Dinner for Five Strangers".

After graduating and stepping out into the world outside one realizes the brand "UCLA Engineering" is valued so much!

Ani Garabedian BS' 99: UCLA was the best experience! I enjoyed my classes, the people I met, and the activities I was involved in like the Society of Women Engineers. And it is because of that that I continue with Alumni work--particularly with the Engineering Alumni Association.

I enjoyed meeting friends at Kerckhoff to study and hang out--I still visit every time I come back to campus.

UCLA engineering gave me the skills to do well in the working world. The discipline I learned has made it easy to learn even more! And I am always happy to hear about all the improvements that have been made, and I think any student at UCLA Engineering will have a valuable experience.

It was a great experience!
