New Education Coordinator Joins UCLA Engineering

UCLA Engineering welcomes Jeanine Moreno, the School’s new education coordinator. Moreno comes to the School from the UCLA Brain Research Institute (BRI) where she most recently served as the Student Affairs Officer for the Interdepartmental Undergraduate Program for Neuroscience. While at the BRI, she also worked for their administrative offices, the Interdepartmental Graduate Program for Neuroscience, and coordinated the Neuroengineering Summer Research Program.

She will be responsible for coordinating internships for UCLA Engineering, as well as outreach and retention programs designed to increase the number of women pursuing degrees in engineering and computer science. Moreno also will direct the School’s Engineering Science Corps, a volunteer tutoring program for local high school students.
