Lifetime Contribution winner Simon Ramo jokes with the audience before accepting the school's Lifetime Contribution Award from Dean Dhir. Ramo has received the nation's highest awards, including the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the National Medal of Science. He was chief scientist and technical director of the Intercontinental Ballistic Missile program. He founded many successful high-tech corporations including Ramo-Wooldridge, which became TRW Inc. |

Patrick Ho '05 MS '06 accepts the Young Alumni Service Award from Leonard Bonilla '70, president of the UCLA Engineering Alumni Association. Since his graduation, Ho has been very involved with the Engineering Alumni Association, as well as the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department. |
